I feel Sorry for U
You U guys sure have to be able to sustain HUGE losses.
I was in this sector but bailed a while ago when it seemed to be going nowhere.
I have had some bad experiences with U in the past.
I understand many think the fundamentals HAVE to be Bullish
But how does one reconcile holding out for the eventual moonshot with fugly charts like this ?
My point is it’s so easy to get blinded by “fundamentals” …but Charts can save your ass if you believe in them.
I have been in this boat with Gold Stocks many times
Thankfully I have learned to tune out the “Fundamentals” and believed in the charts
A breakdown is usually …a breakdown !
Hoping for an end around or FBO is a strategy that rarely works
To each his own …some want to be positioned BEFORE the blast off BUT
When there is a clear breakout in this sector…it will be obvious
Like we have just seen in Gold.
Nothing wrong with waiting for it…maybe you give up the first 20%
But when there are 100s of % at stake that’s a small premium to pay to avoid these large drawdowns
all IMHO
Rick Rule has opined no uranium bull market until Japan restarts the reactors that were shut down after the Fukashima disaster.
From World Nuclear News:
Prior to 2011, nuclear power provided about 30% of Japan’s electricity generation. However, following the Fukushima accident all of the country’s nuclear reactors were taken out of service for mandatory safety inspections and upgrades. (…)
Japan’s long-term energy policy calls for nuclear’s share to reach 20-22% by 2030 which the EIA says would require up to 30 reactors to be in operation. In addition to the nine of Japan’s 39 operable reactors that have already resumed operation, another 16 reactors have applied to restart.

I believe a nuclear energy future in some form is inevitable, whether that be a uranium reactor, a molten salt reactor that uses spent nuclear waste (both are examples of fission reactors – splitting atoms) or a nuclear fusion reactor (fusing hydrogen into helium + energy)
So far science has not been able to make a fusion reaction that produces more energy than is required to produce the reaction. But many are working on it. Fusion reactors are the holy grail of nuclear energy. They could make a limitless supply of inexpensive pollution free energy. Fusion power would be the dawn of a new era of prosperity.

Cold Fusion may be the answer. It is simple, clean, and is said to produce free thermal energy.
No uranium is required. I don’t know if cold fusion is real or not. There is disagreement among scientists.
Also, research funding for cold fusion was stopped abruptly sometime around 1990.
It is hard to know the truth about some things.
This is not investment advice.
Very small positions for me. Really just watching to see where they go. I like to hold a few shares in companies I like so I don’t forget about them when things turn. I realize the turn might take time (i.e. – the Japanese restarts and/or subsidies from the U.S. government to ensure domestic supplies), but I do think we are inching closer.
