Just in case I want to throw some money at some phys, can you guys recommend some reputable retail companies that specialize in pm sales? Prefer USA companies if possible. Canada too as long as there isn’t a shipping problem.
It’s been years since I started dabbling in the purchase of coins and bars.

I always recommend getting to know your local coin shop first. They may not have the bulk you are looking for but if you are feathering in monthly it is a great place to start. I have used Bill Haynes/CMI gold and silver out of Phoenix for years. They have always delivered great products at great prices and everything comes very secure usually reading “machine parts” etc. Of course it comes with signature delivery, insurance etc. Nice folks.

Aurum, I used to have a great relationship with a local coin shop. I started buying Morgans and Peace dollars and the owner trained me pretty well when it came to grading silver dollars. Unfortunately, after several years, he went out of business, but then he went to work for a larger coin shop in the general area. I used that shop for a while and recently learned that it too went out of business. Shocker. I mention this because in my opinion it’s an indicator of the very low opinion the public has re: PMs.
Now I live in the boonies and there isn’t a coin shop to be found for 100 miles.

You got me fired up. I spoke to Bill today and got some silver. BofA sends me these zero percent interest for a year checks that are tied to one of my cards I don’t use. Every year I load up at what I think are the lows and then spend the year paying back what I bought. Rinse and repeat. Buying real money with debt in a FIAT system. PRICELESS. Truth me told I work for a FinTech backed by gold. I have exchanged information with Fully about it. I am going to post a general comment soon introducing this long time lurker to the community and I will explain more.

I was thinking of silver, but gold may be the best value.
I have used APMEX, Provident Metals and JM Bullion in the past with no complaints. Shop around for the best price – it’s all the same stuff.
Thanks Scott. As I mentioned, I’m looking for some phys silver. But then I peeked at the Heiken Ashi (which I use sort of as a cycle chart) and we are currently in the sell mode. I will be looking for some daily and/or weekly divergences.
