   OMG! I never thought I’d see one idea out of this guy that made any sense!
   The big question now, is he just lying about this?
   At the very least, replacing or building solar panel faced walls sounds pretty damn good.

   My first thoughts are somewhat less than positive. You will please forgive my raining on the parade.

   Let’s see – the wall runs west to east, pretty much. The sun shines on the south side of the wall at that latitude, pretty much – you know, on the Mexican side.
   Hmm. I wonder if there are any Mexican vigilantes who might have a use for solar panels, you know – if they’re free? Nah, probably not.
   In any case solar panels are usually installed on a roof. Never saw them installed on a wall. Not practical.
   Anyway, the last I read enough GOP senators sided with the Democrats to nix the wall. So the chances of the “great solar wall” happening are rather slim.
   If I am out of line, say so, but I just don’t see the wall happening. Solar or otherwise.

     I guess I just figured SF, that the panels would be on top of the wall facing the sun?
     Knowing Trump, he’d bury them under ground…..

   So it looks like this whole idea came from this group of scientist.
   It looks to me like this is just a fantastic idea. It will be interesting to see the debate on it.
   But reading the Purdue U, link this looks pretty incredible!
