Loading ...Miners Sniffing?
This has been on my mind for days now, that lot of miners, at least in my PF, have been either even or up on days gold has been down a little.
I learned here that the miners often lead gold. I didn’t want to post anything and jinx it! 🙂 (In reality I don’t believe that.)
It will be what it will be. But looking at the HUI chart, it was pretty even for the week, up and down some but with gold down a bit it at least didn’t tank.
I had to laugh one day this week when I finished the day up .40! (Yes forty cents.) With gold down. LOL
Some individual miner stocks are decoupling from the indices and retain strong charts. Strong ones that I see are SA, GFI, SAND, BTG, FNV and SILV. These are holding up better than the miner ETFs, GDX, GDXJ, RING, SGDM and so on… Good luck!
