Mr. President Trump, Sir: you are working tirelessly, against tremendous odds, to carry out your mission in life, which is to “Make America Great Again”.
I propose to you a measure fully in accord with your vision of a great, united nation of America, working for prosperity; a measure that conveys a fundamental message of inspiration for the American people. The greatness of a nation flowers when its moral stature is elevated, and such is the object of the measure that I suggest to you.
I suggest that you restore to Americans the use of silver money as a means of savings, to grant Americans the peace of mind that such savings provide, immune to the ravages of inflation which now decimate the savings of the whole world.
If you should take up the challenge which such a measure involves, you would, without any doubt, be accorded a stature of greatness as President of the United States of America, not seen since the time of Andrew Jackson.

I have Kennedy silver dollar from 1960 plus many silver dimes I collected from change given to me at the store. Used to separate dimes from change.
Silver dollar and silver dime and quarter taken out of circulation. Debasing of currency USD continued long before 1971 abandonment of gold standard.

Getting from here to there involves a lot of steps and an army-sized level of opposition.
But I say go for it.
“People can save with PM’s now even without it being a nation’s money.” But there are tax consequences such as capital gains, sales tax,etc. These would be eliminated under Hugo’s proposal making it truly a savings vehicle.
Fully, this could fit in with the Q-anon concept, it could be the Q-ag47 insert. IMO, something like what Hugo is proposing would be the beginning of the end to the Fed’s monopoly on our currency.
Politicians want the power that comes from being able to spend OUR money on pork, that they use to get re-elected, without having to raise taxes to cover that added spending.
And they need the Fed to do that … they use Ctrl-P to create new fiat de novo to cover the deficits by purchasing the Treasury bonds.
America was different, back when it didn’t have career politicians and lawyers calling all the shots. Their interests used to be aligned with the public’s. No longer. People get that, and the nation’s only hope is for leadership that comes from non politicians, whether they have orange hair, used to work in Hollywood, or practice gynecology on the side.
Hugo has been trying to get Mexico to adopt his noble scheme for over 20 years and yet nothing has even remotely happened.
If they cant do it in a civilized country like Mexico how cant they do it in a Barberic Society like the USA

He should run for Presidency just like Trump.
If he gets elected then he can show the world how to create new sound money.
