US$ forecast
Interesting to notice that some professionals share the view of cycle analysts like Northstar and others on this forum that see trouble ahead for the US$:
Ulf Lindahl, CEO of A.G. Bisset Associates LLC, predicts that the U.S. dollar will fall by around 40 percent against the euro by 2024, citing a 15-year cycle of losses and gains, reports Bloomberg. Lindahl hedges foreign exchange risk for pension funds and family offices in the U.S. and Europe and has helped clients pick up around 100 basis points per year on their portfolios over the last 25 years. “We could see a very substantial decline in the dollar” and “it has massive implications for all the financial markets,” said Lindahl in an interview in August. President Donald Trump criticized Fed chairman Jerome Powell for hiking interest rates even when inflation isn’t a problem, telling Fox Business this week that “my biggest threat is the Fed because the Fed is raising rates too fast.” Historically, gold performs well during times of rising inflation and moves in the opposite direction of the dollar.

Being bearish on the dollar seems to put me in the minority at the moment, but my analysis of the chart alongside cycle considerations are telling me the next significant move will be down.
I have the same feeling, most friends of mine can not understand that the $ could fall in a rising interest cycle. Time will tell.
So I guess that means Italy will be fixed. Again.
And then Spain, again. And Portugal.
And Merkel will recover her lost support in Germany.
Can they really save the euro?
Well, maybe the dollar falls against the yen. Oh wait.
Guess that leaves the yuan … which was just devalued against gold as they struggle to keep their salt mines busy as selling the stuff gets harder.
Yeah … at some point … I still think the dollar bust is a few years off.
Probably when the &*#% regain political control here, behind their UBI plans. That should get it going.
The Dollar Sucks The Euro Sucks The Yen Sucks…they all suck….so why does Gold suck too ?
