$USD is approaching new yearly highs
Armstrong wrote a piece Tuesday outlining why he believes the fundamentals will continue supporting a stronger dollar in the future.
Basically he says that it is the prettiest of the three ugly sisters.

The three ugly sisters USD, EUR and JPY. Yeah, the pound isn’t even an ugly sister anymore. It’s now a minor planet, like Pluto, on the fringes, hardly worthy of consideration! It’s a sign of the times for Brits that it doesn’t even get a single mention in Armstrong’s article.
I just can’t see how the dollar can go to a new low if it has its normal bear market cycle here (ie go below around 70 on the USDX). Something would have to go amazingly wrong in the USA for this to happen given that the EU and Japan are basically basket cases (though I wonder – everybody has been calling Japan a basket case for decades and it’s still one of the world’s richest and most productive nations whose stock market did not make a new low on the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and Fukushima disasters).
As someone in the UK, I have a “feeling” – not chartology but a feeling, that something is going to bust here first.
