   I agree with you fully!

   I have been riding this since 2010, and particularly after the early 2016 period of consolidation (a normal occurrence in the credit cycle).

   What concerns the cycle analyst right now is that they follow the SPX and the current weekly cycle is left translated having topped, so far, in week 5.

   Now if it exceeds that week 5 high later this week (or early next) then the ICH (weekly cycle high) will be in week 17 or 18 meaning that the weekly cycle will be right translated and we have left the YCL (yearly cycle low) behind.

   Whatever the case I remain positive that we still have 12-18 months exponential growth in stocks for the next 12-18 months until the mid cycle slow-down in late 2019

   Mr Fully, would you be so kind as to post a chart of gold during in the months leading up to end of Jun 2013.

   Most of us that were caught in that crash can remember vividly the fall around 19 Jun and bottom (ICL) around 28 Jun.

   I was rushing to cover margin calls!

   Historical dates yes but I can see a similar pattern emerging for gold, 5 years on, as a result of the USD advancing after it hosts a DCL early next week.

   I remain very bullish on gold and miners but this move into late Jun could throw a few of guard, as it well & truly did in 2013

   I’m back onboard, bought the Friday breakout of the May consolidation pattern. Turns out that island reversal was A top, but not THE top. That price has overcome it and set new all time highs seems nothing but bullish to me.

   Inflation? And maybe the natural kind this time(as opposed to the QE type)ignited by the Fed, and now out of their control?

   An author at 321Gold wrote an article yesterday explaining how inflation would kill the stock market. Of course it kills the market in real terms, but not nominally. But that’s not what he was implying.

   fwiw, I see no problem with equities and PM’s increasing at the same time. It seems logical to me that they would at this point in time. (And the dollar index can do whatever it wants–it’s largely irrelevant to me insofar as I view it as a comparative derivative of inflation.)

   EW has NOT been bearish. At least not the folks I follow. Nor have I.
   Every EW chartist worth his salt was calling the Jan high a wave 3 top.
   Meaning new ATHs would come eventually.
   At least one EW guy wants a second larger degree wave 3 high sooner, then further ATHs later.
   And that lines up with what I’m seeing.
   Even Mr PersonaNonGrata in the EW World is looking for SPX 3200.

   Oh … and did Chartology emphatically call the January highs something other than the final top, as EW did?
   Please don’t be so cavalier about tossing out disparaging assessments about EW calls without a shred of evidence. Mistaken biases don’t serve your larger purpose here.
