Leave it to Beaver
I DON’T KNOW WHEN GOLD WILL TAKE OFF
But Nickle IS taking off eh ?
Who’s got a favorite Nickle Stock ?
a nickle for your thoughts
Is this not a beautiful thing ?
I bet not half you Canadians even knew there was a Beaver on a nickle. But we all know there’s a Maple Leaf on a gold coin.
Look at the art that goes into these things.
Someone has to draw the beaver ..then sculpt it and cast it from molten nickel and polish it and store it and ship it
and all it’s worth is 1:20 of a Looney. ? That’s a bargain.
Come to think of it a Loon makes a really nice look on a coin too
and phoney as a 2 dollar bear ?
Ah…but did you know ( non Canadians) that one of the nicest little coins has been taken out of circulation up here.
and go figure its the one with the Maple Leaf
Yes …about the obverse…all our coins have an image of The Queen of England imprinted.
We are still British Subjects after all.
Giga Metals (GIGA.V, HNCKF) and Mustang Minerals (MUM.V, MSMGF) are two favourites of mine – these are recommendations and holdings of Mike Beck, who sees them and Norilsk Nickel (together with cobalt stock Cobalt 27, and LSC Lithium) as optimal plays for the EV-induced supply crunch over the coming decade. See here – http://palisade-research.com/mike-beck-battery-metals-part-3-nickel-is-the-next-big-energy-metal/ There are four Palisade Radio interviews with Mike Beck on the EV metals – all worth listening to in my opinion.
Glad I can share my monarch with you Fully, as well as my Nickel stocks 🙂
HC overlay GIGA chart with a NVO chart just for fun!
red label, I understand! Not necessarily advocating buying here, though it does look to me like there should be good support just a little lower at around 0.35CAD. I think that may be an attractive entry. DYOD.
Balmoral’s Grassett nickel deposit is being given practically no value here, while the market awaits the maiden resource of their high-grade Martiniere deposit before Q2.
Olyeller, I am with you on Balmoral. I like the story quite a lot. Nickel deposit just the bonus part. Good gold deposits in a good location. With higher metal prices this could be a multiple bagger.
I fondly remember the days when the nickel price ran above $20/lb. As a student at the time, I could buy bundles of nickel from the bank, sort them by year (1982 and earlier are 99.9% Ni), sell them on ebay and come out moderately ahead. I remember at the peak selling $20 CDN face value bundles of nickels for $80 USD. Hourly, the pay was terrible but self employment was oh so sweet.
LOL…that’s a great story Flywheel.
Get a real kick out of that
what’s the price per pound today ?
Today $6.18/lb. USD
The people at the bank thought I was crazy buying so many nickels. I researched buying a $6000 coin sorting machine that could sort by metallic content. Luckily didn’t make the purchase as the price swiftly tanked back to $5/lb. The thought was to quit school and drive around to all the banks within 100km radius, withdrawing as many nickels as they’d let me. Haha, those were the days.
ahhh, but our ‘toonie’ is the only coin in circulation with ‘ a queen and a bear behind’ !
Embearassed
🙂
