Gold – What’s The Problem ?
I’m quite surprised (but very happy) to see all the bearish sentiment and caution. The miners have lagged during golds latest $100 move up. Frustrating, but I’m confident they’ll get the memo soon. How did gold look at the start of the last bull run ? Take a look…
And how does it look today ? Well, you guess it, just as good. Even the percentage gains are very similar…
It takes time for the young bull to be steady on his feet, but soon he’ll be running 🙂
Eric Hadik sees significant top in CHF in Q3 2018, maybe an interim top in Gold too?, before we attack the old highs in 2019/2020?

Quite possibly
Thanks Northstar …you are a beacon in the storm
🙂
Cheers Fully. Just trying to provide some perspective.
Can you overlay $HUI for the timeframe in the two charts.
I wonder if $HUI was much stronger during the last baby bull phase for Gold ?
Will look at that…
You had pointed out it was funny that gold never actually hit the long downtrend line, reversed and headed back up just shy of it – maybe that’s where it’s going now… That would mean a trip back to around 1200, which would still be a higher high but would make for a major crushing of the miners. Given that they never really dumped this time, that’s probably called for.
Sorry, long uptrend line
That is still a possibility PT. I’d rate it as about a 10 to 20% probability.
