Loading ...bolly bands
I grabbed some setting from Sir Mort on the bands and found a few movers and losers.As it goes, the narrowing bands lead to big moves to relieve the pressure. Great charts Sir M, learning what I can here with so much to know. Some monsters lurking here.
Don’t know if it’s helpful but I like to use the Bollinger Band Width indicator too, it makes it a little easier to spot just how tight/wide they are getting.

Been using bollingers for a while, and i love them. Never saw this setting though. I like the default setting where the price stays within the bands most of the time. If you pair that with a moving average cross (i use 13 & 34 moving averages), it really adds amazing context as to whats taking place on the chart.
My ideal trade setup is tight bollingers, and pre-empting the 13ma crossing the 34. The moving averages are lagging indicators so try to preempt when the 13 will cross over the 34 (thus starting a trend), while limiting risk.
