Belkin Report
This is a report that costs you $900/year
https://hyperpyron.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/ZBGSFMar12.pdf
The same information can be found here at zero cost and even better and without a newsletter writer pushing you what to buy and when.
His comments about AG: All its mines are in Mexico and 75% of its operating costs are in
the weakening Mexican peso. Sorry, but I do not really see a weakening peso, as AG its cash costs are higher every quarter due to the strengthening Peso! Do we have to pay $900 for this outdated info?
I have been reading several other newsletter writers the last 2 years, and would recommend NONE, as they all have their own agenda, either selling subscriptions or promoting stocks they bought through private placements.
Do you remember Kaiser promoting AZS when it was at 0.9, where is he now? And Gwen Preston, not a bad writer to be honest, but recently she wrote she wanted to be more conservative as clients disliked gold explorers and preferred gold developers as less risky. This clearly is/was happening some months before gold bottom and retail investors dumping explorers.
Conclusion: do your own homework and buy when nobody wants to buy and sell when a stock is promoted too heavily by Sprott, newsletter writers and/or media.
I agree with you 100% Alex. If they were great traders they wouldn’t have to be writing advice letters. I’ll do my own research and analyze my own charts. I have seen them make all kinds of mistakes.
Amen and Amen. There’s far too much love for “analysts” with agendas.
And what about our resident Vulcan? Spock was putting up charts for AZS, and other “rocks” with wild price targets. Where are they now? Most are in the toilet, and instead, we’re getting pitched on a crypto story since geology didn’t work out so well. No thank you.
Beware of the analyst with a subscription service and no follow up on failed investments. When we had our mini bull in 2016, many looked smart because of their picks. However, “Don’t confuse a bull market with brains”.
Spock’s PF is still well in the green…150% or so since inception
That’s the effect of being in early on the mini-bull of 2016. A bunch of others guys PFs (mine included) are up nicely when measured from late 2015/early 2016. That’s not so rare. I’m talking about more recent performance. I have learned that there is no substitute for your own research, and beware of a salesman.
You call out Graddhy on his “failed calls”, but no one seems to mentions the Spock picks that haven’t worked out so well.
In hindsight we all should have sold the explorers in August 2016…
True! We’re a stubborn bunch, aren’t we? 😉
I fully agree! When I meet a junior company, I check if they do not promote too much their story instead of advancing the project. Remember NXS? More promotion than company progress always kills a stock in the end. And I admit several other juniors declined substantially too, but at least these other names have a project with proven data or ounces proven to rely on. Big difference. Not to forget NXS overpaid all its acquisitions as it wanted to show company progress to its retail investors, this only works in a strong bull market, and we are not there yet.
The same about putting out too lofty targets on a junior stock, I think it is always wise to take money of the table after a double or triple, even if all analysts or pro investors like Sprott state that NVO or GGI is the play to go you better sell at least 50% of your holdings and let the rest for a free ride.
Yeah, NXS is a sore spot for me — Too much hype. Guess what? The herd is still nowhere in sight…
I have done extremely well following Rambus Chartology Subscription service. he has been short PMs or flat since 2012…and that has been the trade ( exception early 2016 he caught a big part of the move and got out.)
BUT his SM trades…he has about 3 dozen on now…. are ALL very green.
No agenda…just a passion and a talent for Chartology….He teaches it as well…and his subscribers have all benifitted from his work……

I didn’t intend to paint Rambus in that comment—I was referring to the stock promoters, especially in the PM space. Gwen seems to be the most honest to me so far—At least she visits sites and explains the data and her opinion on the geology. Charts are less helpful for juniors, and POs are especially useless—In my opinion they’re bait for the suckers.
Agree, that Gwen and also Eric Coffin are fine and not over promoting.
Rambus is not gold related so should be seen different. Results although are impressive. Fullgold, could you comment on how he realizes such aggressive numbers? By being at the right moment in stocks like NVO or GGI or Lithium/cobalt names or by taking aggressive individual positions? What is number of positions and what is average holding period? Thx
Get a subscription and you will see how he has done it….He is Primarily a PM analyst but while PMs have been in a bear market he mostly avoids them or shorts them with 3X bears….90% of these gains however are from Non Pm Stocks.
Mostly general market ETFs on different sectors as well as some individual stocks …and yes Lithium and Cobalt and base metal plays.
Here is THE post …if you need one…on how he does it
