This guy has to be good for gold.
I predict massive failure for metals and miners (gold maybe $1300 while miners barely a move AGAIN). I also expect the poster below is right and people waiting for a real pb in the broad markets will be left for dead AGAIN. Dont think any move above $1400 gold will start for another year. Thats my take.
I think bigger story for gold & the miners are the PPI & CPI numbers due out this week. If they come in hot, look out below.

It may very well be hoopla but, as long as Trump and Dong are dueling, it will be scary front page stuff. If we aren’t supported by other world leaders, one or both may be backed into a corner and feel that he (they) has to do something and that cannot be ignored.
Another factor is that we did not defeat them during the War.
World War I started with a gun shot.
The bigger concern I have is that the Chinese and Russian cards are still facing down.
They’ve mobilized to their respective borders with NK, but that can be for several reasons: (a) trying to pressure NK down; (b) protecting their territory if the US strikes, and SK invades; (c) repelling any refugee swarms if NK nationals become unhinged.
