Cryprocurrency factoid.
It took 7 years for the value of all cryptocurrency to hit $10 billion, another year to hit $20 billion & 3 more months to hit $40 billion.
Parabolic spike or sustainable, exponential rise?

I could be wrong, but I don’t think any parabola is sustainable (unless infinity is sustainable).
This will crash at some point and I’d love to get in. No way I’m chasing a parabola tho.
I was involved dew years back when BIT was around $90 to $100.
Then there were several issues with these crptos. 1) Legality. US fed was going to go after people trading and were looking in to charges like money laundering.
2) payment and receiving payments were difficult.
3) Right around that time the biggest exchange MtGox exchange went bankrupt and people lost money in tune of $80 million.
Has any thing changed since then??
I still have 0.001 BTC in my wallet. LOL!!!
Sure Bikoo, lots has changed in the last few years.
1)Yes, regulators have been trying to catch up but that doesn’t mean that trading in crypto-currencies is in any way illegal.
2)There are more platforms trading bitcoin for gov’t currencies than ever, they just have had to become more regulation compliant in order stay in business.
3)Keep all crypto-currencies in a private wallet that you control. Do NOT trust the exchanges with your hard-earned value. They continue to be hacked including Poloniex and Bitfinex in the last year. Personally, I use a Trezor physical wallet because I’m not really very tech savvy and I believe they’ve done the best job making it simple for regular people to store bitcoin safely.
Thanks for info.
How do you deposit funds and withdraw funds when u sell?
Is coindex a relaible exchange?
I understand one has to have an account with an exchange. I used to have with Mtgox.
I was using Coinbase for a long time to buy, linked directly to my chequing account but when they cancelled Canadian accounts and got all crazy with the IRS reporting regulations, I got nervous and closed my account with them. Now, for buying I use QuickBT, move it into my private wallet and for selling I use Goldmoney. They’re both reliable companies as far as I know and I can actually get physical delivery locally from Goldmoney. Finally, a profitable way to buy physical! lol.
The below chart from http://pricedingold.com/bitcoin/ shows that bitcoin priced in gold has just broken out to new highs. Chart sure looks bullish to me: http://pricedingold.com/charts/BTC-2010.pdf
