Referring to  comment in recent post by Norhstar showing gold in long term triangle, the same can be said about possible golden cross on weekly chart.

In 2002 gold had its weekly golden cross, and went up for more than 10 years! Silver is different as due to high volatility there was a break in 2008/2009.
