A timely article on warrants which are leveraged to PM stocks and leveraged to price of gold/silver.

For traders two leveraged equities are available: 2x.3x etf’s and warrants.

I was looking for this article by Dudly and it showed up to my surprise.

“There are two different kinds of warrants. First of all, a warrant is the option to buy stock at a certain price up until a certain time. There are two kinds of warrants, tradable warrants which are listed and can be bought and sold and non-tradable warrants. With a non-tradable warrant, you have to exercise it to get value out of it. You buy the stock at the warrant price. Naturally investors prefer tradable warrants.”

How to Buy Shares and Stock Warrants On Canadian Companies?

PennTrade is now back in business and using RBC as their clearing firm thus allowing U.S. investors the ability to purchase the Canadian shares and stock warrants.

Fidelity Investments offers the ability to trade Canadian warrants through their international platform if you meet those requirements.

Other firms, TD Ameritrade, Scottrade and others may be more problematic. It is my understanding that if you provide your broker with the cusip number (which we provide in our databases) for the stock warrant, they ‘may be’ able to do the trade for you, but no guarantees.
