Rambus : Dollar Chartathon
Rambus asked me if we think he is beating a dead horse with his uber analysis of the Dollar
I don’t think one can analyse the Dollar enough : Its THE thing !

Indeed, it’s insuppressible even if Trump wants to. If China had manipulated Yuan lower unless a free float disproves it, Trump can play the same game. However, demand for $ isn’t fading any soon this year fueled by EU uncertainties. The catalysts for this year’s fractal upon last year seem to be sentiments from BREXIT/Trump vs Netherlands/France/Germany. Nationalism is the common denominator.
The dollar is key here
Also with trump in office one can’t help think things will be changing
And the cycles also suggest it
Think he is correct to feature dollar review.
After all it’s important for the pm sector. Isn’t it ?
more QE be the trick but that seems not on the top 10 list now. Hard to stop the inflows from Europe but on the other hand gold should get a bid with the cash that flees. It just seems week and no big +$20 rallies thus. Almost seems easier to pull out of most gold stocks and just wait to see. We are at near possible bottom and whats’ a hundred bucks in gold to 1300 range, not much in big picture as the rest of the planet buying would still be in the dark. Seems less stressful imho. I guess month end #’s show the trend.
dollar analysis from rambus = good 🙂 … but if he feels he needs to take a break from beating a dead horse, hes allowed…..but not for to long!
Rambus dollar posts are timely and need I say, important. I read every word and examine every chart at least twice, often more. (I may be slow absorbing it all, but I do need to get a firm grasp on those charts) Dollar strength/weakness effects everything else.
Will dollar support hold? That is the question. We’ll know soon.
The reports are great and I don’t think Rambus is beating a dead horse.?
The horse plays dead till time is right. Seems like 15 years cycle will soon be over. Thank you Rambus. Excellent charts. I like €/gold and recent JPY/gold.
