You did the right thing, one of the right things: take the profit. (To go into slightly more detail: I don’t look at charts carefully, but from your longer term chart I could make a case for past congestions anywhere from 1.12 to 3.36 or so, all of which could serve as resistances. Moreover the sharp up-spike doesn’t make a long-termer like me comfortable. I prefer steady rises. Thus selling at 0.90 looks great.)
An alternative right thing: take partial profit (1/4, 1/2, …) and sit with the rest. Rationale is similar.
Another, provided Spock is right: sit.
What I do: For reasons I couldn’t adequately justify in even a 60 page essay, I think it’s reasonable to hold a sizable bet in these things for the intermediate to long term. I am lazy and don’t like making changes though I like looking at things daily for fun. I am significantly influenced by Spock, but I do things my own way. If it gets to the 1.12-3.36 range (prior congestions on longer term chart) or maybe higher and I’m bored, I study the company some more–ditto if the PM market changes. Certainly I reevaluate if it goes down too much. Otherwise I just sit and hope it goes up to very very approximately 6.0, where there’s lots of past congestion, and probably take lots of partial profits if not complete profits.
Since I make lots of mistakes, one probably does best doing the opposite of what I do.

I sold my 4 Spock’s right before it blasted tho only ntgsf has moved. I just prefer being able to get out easier. Oh well nice trade everyone.
