GLD closed the October break down gap, is back inside the months long consolidation pattern, and has regained the 50 EMA. So far, so good. The OBV is nicely on the rise. Also good. Of some concern is that the candlesticks these last four trading days are sitting outside the Bollinger band (zoom thumbnail) One might ask himself if that happens often without some sort of reaction. The last candlestick, closing highest, if only slightly, is a doji suggesting indecision. The TSI, hanging in there at 75, is a bit stretched and should also be due for a reaction. And the money flow? Still negative.
Where next then, for GLD?

EDIT. GDX 2Hr added
Not new info here, but worth taking another look.
There is a slight negative RSI divergence on the GDX 2 Hr chart. (In fairness, the divergence is not evident on the daily chart)
With GLD struggling to maintain a new high, why have the miners not followed? If the miners are not leading the charge, are they leading the retreat? That being said, the miners can rally and everything can change in a heartbeat.
