I think you’re right that the establishment wants Trump to win this. They see the writing on the wall. They know this puppy is going down hard. Who do they want in office when the catastrophe occurs? They want the strong, masculine, xenophobic,chauvinistic, racist, white, nationalistic, rich, Republican, businessman. And when it all comes down on our heads, that is the scapegoat they will blame it on. Good old Donald Trump. It’ll all be his fault. “If Hillary had won, this horrible thing would have never happened.” There is about a 99% chance that Trump wins this in my view.

They are both bought and paid for, the uber rich banking families will continue to run the show, long term they will continue to trash everything, to provide the solution, to push us into servitude. Precious metals will go higher long term, but as for the shorter term, it really is a flip of a coin. Who wins? What is the reaction to the winner? Much easier to trade the charts, that’s why I hardly ever watch of listen to any news at all these days.

I don’t think anyone is much excited about either one. The only joy I got from voting for trump was the fun I will have showing my in-laws my ballot at xmas then coming up with a false argument why trump is so great just for the thrill of getting them all worked up over nothing. Xmas is a special time of year.
PS: a vote for trump in Colorado will not help him win. I couldn’t bring myself to vote for killer.

FBI Director Comey’s Friday afternoon letter to Congress about new email evidence was a lot more than a “bombshell”. It was the equivalent of an election-cycle DEFCON 1.
That’s because Comey has to be a desperate man doing the very last thing imaginable. To wit, blowing up the establishment which he has obeisantly served for the last three decades.
After all, he proved back in July that he has a wet noodle for a backbone when he practically leapt into the tank for Hillary and for the worst of reasons.
To wit, he prematurely and unaccountably “closed” the case in defiance of the FBI’s own findings of Clinton’s “gross negligence,” and without even empaneling a grand jury, for a reason that was plain as day: Comey is one of the Imperial City’s archetypical greasy pole-climbing careerists and was just plain terrified of being drummed out of public life by the Washington ruling class for prosecution of its leading clan.
So to now reverse himself just 280 hours before the polls close on election day, and potentially deprive Hillary of what was otherwise a certain victory, can possibly mean only one thing. Namely, that these new emails give “smoking gun” a new definition.
What we are saying is that for Comey the FBI’s servergate investigation has suddenly escalated from an exercise in kissing butt to a desperate bid to cover his ass. The spineless opportunist who occupies the top chair in the Hoover Building found it impossible to delay disclosure that the FBI had discovered some 650,000 emails on Huma/Weiner’s laptop—thousands of which may be “pertinent” to the Clinton servergate matter—–because he knows full well that Uncle Sam’s hospitality facilities are not a country club.
Well, at least not for an ex-prosecutor who spent a good portion of his career filling up these joints. Yet Federal prison is exactly where he would have been headed the minute GOP-controlled House investigating committees, using their subpoena power, discovered that Comey had deep-sixed new evidence of Hillary’s complicity, to use Tricky Dick’s term from the long ago Watergate era .
And that’s also why this development is truly the mother of all October Surprises. Even if by some outside chance these new emails turn out not to be a smoking gun, when and if they are ever disclosed, it won’t matter.
On Friday, FBI director Comey turned servergate into Watergate 2.0.
Consequently, what had been shaping up as a runaway win for Hillary in the electoral college, if not the popular vote, will now undoubtedly tighten dramatically. In turn, that means that either way it goes on November 8th the great financial bubble and phony recovery orchestrated by the Wall Street/Washington ruling elites is heading for a thundering collapse.
We will expand on that momentarily, but the abruptness with which Comey capitulated to pressure from inside the FBI on this new trove of emails discovered less than two weeks ago should not go unremarked. That’s because Comey is a consummate establishment insider who has spent his career checking the boxes from the moment he graduated from law school in 1985.
This climb up the greasy pole included clerking for a Federal judge, a stint in the prestigious criminal division of the southern district of New York (SDNY), a turn as assistant US attorney in Virginia and then appointment as US attorney for the SDNY during 2002-2003. In the latter job he notably failed to find any wrong-doing in a string of cases involving Bill Clinton’s 176 midnight pardons, including those of Marc Rich and the New Square Four, among others.
The latter case directly involved classic Billary corruption. These leaders of the Hasidic Village in New Square, New York had their sentences for bilking the Federal government out of millions commuted by Bill as he shuffled out of the Oval Office. Then again, that was only after the community had voted 1,400 to 12 in favor of Hillary in the November 2000 Senate race.
Likewise, the SDNY probe of the obvious payola involved in the notorious pardon of Marc Rich was also dropped by Comey—even as he found time to put Martha Stewart in a striped blouse for equivocating about a two-bit stock tip from her broker. You have to say the man knew how to make a name for himself while shinning up the greasy pole.
Thereafter, and in quick succession, he became Deputy Attorney General, general counsel of Lockheed Martin, general counsel of Bridgewater Associates and then FBI Director. That is to say, when you have checked, checked and checked again that many boxes, Friday afternoon’s drastic defiance of the beltway rulers can only be explained by Samuel Johnson’s famous aphorism,
“When a man knows he is to be hanged…it concentrates his mind wonderfully.”
Needless to say, the Wall Street/Washington elites are now shocked and desperate, and they will pull out every stop imaginable to arrest Trump’s unexpected revival down the stretch. And they are more likely than not to succeed because this bombshell will function to suppress Hillary’s vote, not materially boost Trump’s.
The fact remains that the two most unpopular candidates of our lifetime are locked in a game of subtraction on the popular vote.
Trump has been locked-in the low 40s in the four-way race, which is what’s actually on the ballot in most states, and even with this stick-save from the political gods he has simply alienated too many voting blocks—including women, Hispanics and the proverbial college educated—-to surge like Reagan did in the last two weeks of the 1980 race.
At the same time, we have been contending that Hillary will be hard-pressed to move much above 45%, and this latest corruption eruption almost certainly seals the case.
So this election carnival reverts to trench warfare in a handful of counties in a handful of battleground states—-and among undecided voters therein who have most definitely not been chanting “lock her up”. The really fervent anti-Hillary voters who will feast on this latest disclosure are based in the heartland of Flyover America, and those states must perforce end-up glowing bright red!
That is to say, until Friday afternoon, Trump was fighting a rearguard battle to hold onto Mitt Romney’s 206 electoral votes from 2012. His campaign was bailing water from a boat that already had a 126 vote deficit.
Perhaps now the Romney red states have been stabilized and put away. And perhaps now it is conceivable that the two battleground enchiladas—-Florida and Ohio—-can swing into Trump’s column, as well.
But that adds up to just 253 electoral votes and no cigar for the Donald.
Moreover, beyond that steep leap you are talking about rain, ground games and the idiosyncrasies of swing precincts in the 2012 blue states of Iowa, Nevada and Maine’s conservative CD2 congressional district (which casts it electoral vote separately from the statewide winner).
Still, if Trumpian lightning does strike on November 8th in those three jurisdictions, it adds just 13 votes and brings the total to 266 electoral votes, and that assumes the neocon whack-job running as an independent in Utah doesn’t throw that red state’s six votes to Hillary or end-up making himself kingmaker in the US House of Representatives.
To be clear, our purpose here is not election prognostication. But we do think that for Trump to win the White House all of the foregoing would have to happen—-plus there will have to be a thundering act of God on election day in either New Mexico or Pennsylvania to put him over the top.
Yet we doubt even God can orchestrate a deluge of rain during the month of November in New Mexico. That means Philadelphia would have to be hit by the biggest storm since Katrina visited New Orleans—-so that Trump could wrestle down the state’s 20 electoral votes from the coal country, rest belt counties and rural backwaters of Pennsylvania.
Then again, miracles do happen, and it now seems as if November 8th is guaranteed to produce one–even if not the type that the newly-minted churchgoers domiciled in Trump Tower are praying for.

What we are suggesting is that this Mother of all October Surprises may well insure that the 2016 election results end up fracturing the nation’s politics like nothing since 1860, and that, unfortunately, is the only route to liberation from the destructive rule of the Wall Street/Washington elites.
Folks, the ruling elites will never accept the fluke case of a Trump victory based on a minority of the popular vote and a hairline win in the electoral college—even if lightning strikes and God opens the heavens above Philadelphia on election day. The mainstream media will be out to do to his Presidency from day one what it did—and far more legitimately—-to Nixon’s at the end.
At the same time, in the now suddenly far more plausible case that Hillary wins with just +/- 45% of the popular vote and a sparse margin in the electoral college—-an equal and opposite political upheaval will follow closely thereupon.
For starters, Donald Trump will likely finish the job that he was slated for by the fates of history in the first place. That is, to be a modern-day Sampson empowered to pull down the corrupt regime of casino capitalism on Wall Street and the reign of endless wars, public debt, unchained entitlements and K-street racketeering in Imperial Washington.
Stated differently, Trump has no coherent domestic economic program—-and that includes canceling NAFTA, cutting taxes by $4 trillion with no spending cuts and huffing and puffing at China.
Likewise, he has shown good instincts in the foreign policy arena, but recognizing that Putin is not a modern day Hitler, as Hillary claimed, does not amount to a discernible program. Even then, the candidate has gone charging off the deep-end in opposition to the Iranian nuclear deal and an utterly misguided commitment to sharply increase military spending and cancel the sequester, which at least has kept a lid on the War Party’s destructive military adventurism.
But what Trump may well excel at is turning a close election into a bitterly contested and prolonged crisis of governance by demanding recounts, prosecuting the “rigged” election meme to a fare-thee-well and fulfilling his second debate pledge to withhold a concession to Hillary in the event he loses.
If that transpires, as now seems increasingly probable, it will make the 2000 election “hanging chad” episode look like a Sunday School picnic. Hillary Clinton would enter the White House more bruised, battered, bloodied and delegitimized than any President-elect in US history. Even John Quincy Adams in 1824 represented a clan that was in far better repute than the Clintons.
More crucially, Comey’s action Friday dramatically increased the odds that even if Hillary Clinton stumbles past the post first, the 2016 election is likely to be re-litigated in another forum. To wit, in endless and ferociously partisan “investigations” by a swarm of House committee armed with the subpoena power.
And on that score, the 24,ooo WikiLeaks production of John Podesta’s emails tell you everything you need to know. Namely, these people left compromising fingerprints and inadvertent confessions everywhere. The smoking guns which will bring down the incorrigible corruption and arrogant lawlessness of the House of Clinton—-including the vast shakedowns of the Clinton Foundation and the Billary pay-to-play global racketeering schemes—are as certain to materialize as the secret Nixon tapes of 1973.
That all adds up to a GOP House of Representatives—-which is now certain to be returned to office in close to its current numbers—looking for a reprise of the Clinton Impeachment Games of 1998. Indeed, in response to the Friday bombshell, the Republican Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte, appears to have already let the cat out of the bag:
Goodlatte said he also asked Comey about the status of the request from the House Republicans on the referral “of potential impeachment — I’m sorry — potential perjury charges to be brought with regard to Ms. Clinton and he deferred to the Justice Department itself. He did not answer that question as well.” The slip about impeachment reflected the GOP promise, if Clinton is elected, to doggedly investigate her.
Your editor spent his every youthful moment transfixed by Watergate 1.0 and the Nixon impeachment trial of 1973-1974. The manner in which it poisoned the environment in Washington and soon froze the very machinery of government was experienced close at hand, and has left an indelible memory.
And that was before the nation was sitting on a $20 trillion public debt bomb or had a rogue central bank seeding the financial system with FEDs (financially explosive devices). And it was at a time when Mexico was bankrupt, China was staggering under Mao’s starvation of 40 million and Japan was still exporting to America mostly motor bikes and transistor radios.
In a word, when Imperial Washington shuts-down this time, there will be unfathomable economic consequences——and among them is the virtual certainty that there will be no hand-off of the “stimulus” baton to fiscal policy, as the foolish gamblers left in the casino insensibly anticipate.
Indeed, the GOP House—driven by the aroused citizens of Flyover America who will believe in their tens of millions that the election was stolen—-will become a killing field for whatever desperate gambits the Clinton Administration and its confederates in the Eccles Building may concoct in response to crashing markets and a sinking economy.
There will be no pre-election bipartisan bailout consensus as in October 2008. What comes now is post-election partisan mayhem and the collapse of the nation’s preposterous house of financial cards.
Alas, it’s long overdue, and it’s the only way back to economic sanity.

From what I have read, there is a power struggle between the US Bankers/Power Brokers and the International Banking elite. Much of this has to do with the dethroning of the USD as the Global Reserve Currency in favor of the IMFs SDR Bond. The International Bankers want to move from a uni-polar world to a multi-polar world.
The US Bankers and NeoCons do not wish to give up this power of the reserver currency without a fight as it give the US many advantages across many geopolitical fronts. The NeoCons clearly prefer Hillary as someone they can trust to continue an aggressive foreign policy stance.

Yes, these e-mails are likely being leaked from within the USGovt. Interesting that today we got a teaser from Assange that it was not the Russians. (we already knew that) and Saturday he will have an announcement.
1. We don’t know. Quite likely no one knows, even the best tuned in spooks and the most powerful gazillionaires. It is all too complicated, too many factions, too much secrecy.
2. If as is rumored there are lots of nasty things on computers such as rape/pedophilia that justifiably can have a huge yuck reaction to put it mildly that could move massive percentages of voters, all sorts of alliances and calculations can come unglued or reglued.
3. Therefore I cannot know and even if I did know I might be wrong. Nevertheless I sense a formulation to be correct that is not in keeping with what Surf City has written. (I have seen this from P. Escobar and elsewhere, and tended to think it myself on my own.) Most of the billionaires (elites, ruling classes), the ones who support Clinton-Bush-Obama, the standard DNC/RNC, are big on international expansion, esp military domination all over the world, then political/economic. Associated with all this militarism is banking and a fair amount of other international big capital. Thus conquer-the-worldism (in different words) + international finance + the official and quasi-official propaganda apparatus (MSN). Much of the military at the upper levels is on this side–dissidents have been removed or caused to shut up. This faction of the elites/ruling classes support the Clintons and are happy to tolerate their extreme corruption since it allows the general Clinton-Bush-Obama regime policies of empire-building and ripping off the middle and lower classes to build up the big bankers etc to continue. However a significant faction of the billionaires as well as the military quietly opposes them. These people see the Empire as overextended, and dangerously so. The military is seen as perhaps rotting, and certainly being endangered by rotting infrastructure. They want at least a breather from all the regime-change etc etc etc etc, and instead a focus on building up education, manufacturing, infrastructure in general. They are by no means long-term peaceniks, and also want to heavily build up the military, but a less over-extended military, with less corrupt contracting: big expenditures for stuff that actually works and will work above all defensively in NAmerica. They want America First, Make America Great Again, etc., and therefore have been quietly behind Trump. Maybe this week not so quietly.
And along with this formulation comes the notion that many distinctions and boundaries may increasingly show themselves to be archaic as people who formerly imagined themselves to be adversaries find themselves allied. I think of a recent comment on Zero Hedge, something like, “Libertarians, leftists, anarchists, patriots–come together to destroy the DNC and the RNC [heretofore unpolitical regular people too I hope join in]. We may find people who thought they hated or feared, e.g., the NSA being most grateful for the work of significant factions within it etc. Or not. I don’t know.
The leaks showed that the Clinton campaign actually wanted Trump to run, figuring he would harm the RNC, as he did–but rather more effectively than expected! They and all the other bigshots thought Trump was in it just for ego, for the publicity. And perhaps he was. But they attacked him way too unfairly, to viciously. Unlike Sanders, who conceivably was prepared to be fake opposition from early on, Trump was in a position not to cave and lick boots. Nor would his temperament allow it. Is he too egotistical? Not necessarily. His ego may keep him on task from now own, provided he is not eliminated. He may really care. Diverse people–not just the shallow diversity of appearance but of opinions–think so. It may take him to start draining the swamp.
Of course, not an opinion unique to me. (I personally have a Stein bumper sticker on my car and intend to vote for her, given my state which is rock-solid for the unDemocratic racketeers, and I will vote R down ticket, no matter how repulsive they are. In a swing state I’d probably vote Trump with misgivings and simply vote anti-incumbent or Green downticket.) The best that can occur is a Trump victory and a surprisingly good showing for Stein. Will harm the DNC/RNC both and help the world. The swamp needs lots of drains.
The revelations I’m seeing are SO disturbing, that no one with a conscience can sit back and not be swayed by their implications.
Its to the point now where we have CIVIL WAR, WITHIN the major branches of this government.
No doubt, there are protracted negotiations underway by those at the highest levels seeking to extricate themselves safely from this pit. With their very hides if not their fortunes.
This nation can look forward to a decade of soul searching when all those with blinders on are exposed to the reality of it all.
Its absolutely disgusting that those in a position of trust of the people of the nation, have used their position to enrich themselves, at the expense of the nation. The word “treason” comes to mind.

If Trump wins, the vast majority of us will accept it and get on with our lives. If Hillary wins, the vast majority of us will accept it and get on with our lives. The media will seek out the malcontents because they make entertaining spectacles of themselves, but the country will keep moving forward as the model for all modern democracies. It will remain the safest place to invest your money and one of the world’s best places to live. The people are sound and resilient no matter who is in the White House.
