A couple of Scalawags
Did anyone find solid information on either of these junior miners? These mischievous little guys don’t seem to realize they’re supposed to be in pull back mode.
Probe Metals – PRB on the Vancouver exchange looks like it could be ready to pull back some – finally. Buy the dip?
Falco Pacific Resources, FPC on the Vancouver exchange looks like it wants to keep on keeping on.
Haven’t found a lot of information on either of them. I think the are in exploration mode with good prospects. So high risk – (maybe) high reward…
Great finds Foxy
I’ll give you lazy answers. I am very much an amateur, I did my looking some time ago, and I am not going to reinvestigate now. So you get bad info clouded by poor memory.
Around Feb/Mar Spock was giving me rocks to buy, but I wanted to buy even more. I happened upon Falco and bought it. As I recall, it is nicely located. Pretty large mine that could be brought into production without an ordeal, lots of exploration potential. As I recall, one of the bigshots of either OSK.to or OR.to (forget which, and I think there’s some overlap of bigshots) declared it his/their favorite prospect several months ago. Looked like something that was a super bet a half year ago. I guess I should look at it now again to see how good an investment it is. My vague memory suggests it could be a decent profitable working mine + maybe more this decade. My tentative thought was to let Au go way up a bit more and then dump it and most of my PM stocks.
Probe I owned a few years ago. Sold its main property to Goldcorp. I sold what was left (properties in northern ON, Co ringoffire sort of stuff as I recall). When I happened on a news release around Feb/Mar that they bought nicely positioned property in ON, I bought. Then I saw that Goldcorp owned a chunk. I have noted the deprecatory remarks by Cashcosts and Spock on Goldcorp and sold at a nice profit. In the mean time they had just bought a tiny company that I also bought around Feb/Mar that had a potential mine ready to go this decade that looked good. I keep wanting to sell Probe because of the Goldcorp connection (unless Probe management can take advantage of Goldcorp) but Probe just doesn’t seem to want to go down enough for me to sell, unfortunately.
So that’s some bad commentary. All I learned from these companies was their webpages and news releases.

Some people just can't get a break. LOL
Thanks for the info…
