Here is what he has been up to
Sorry knights, been tied down by this G20 meeting over the past few days. I have been busy trying to convince the CB ministers that yes they are in fact out of dry powder and need to adapt a gold standard.Seems the German finance minister was the only one I could find that understands one just can’t print oneself back to prosperity. In fact Wolfgang Schauuble seemed to be the only one I could relate to as we both agreed that the debt-financed growth model seems to have reached its limits. We both agreed that its causing bubbles and zombifying the world’s economies.
So when the final statement of the conference was posted:”the magnitude of recent market volatility has not reflected the underlying fundamentals of the global economy”,
I was sincerely disappointed and let my feelings be known to my fellow hotel guests here at the Shangri-La Shanghai.
its not about finding a solution, its about the CB structures keeping well paid jobs and pensions, and doing these global junkets. who would employ them all otherwise?
If the majority consider their chosen path a ‘success’ and responsible for our current world state, I’m even more bearish. Unbelievable!
