Here is a Gold Cycle update that I posted yesterday on the RC Forum. The current 6 Month Intermediate Cycle for Gold may have topped last Friday on week 7. Every 6 month Intermediate Cycle BMR since 2013 has topped between week 5 and 12 with the average being about 8 weeks.
I have the miners leading Gold here by 3 weeks.
The Miners usually lead gold but only by a few days to perhaps a week. I can’t recall this big of a lead ever but will try to look at some charts from the 2000 bottom later to see what I can find.
Here is a GDX chart showing the last 3 BMRs. During the Bear, BMRs have topped out, on average, at around 8+ weeks. The last two lasted a bit longer. The steepness of the trend lines are getting shallower and we are now on week 8 with a possible top in week 7 (not confirmed yet).
in 2000 the miners bottomed in Nov and gold bottomed in Feb 2001….but maybe you are referring to different time sequences like intermediate cycles or cycles like that
