CashCost- Rob McEwen Junior index
Rob McEwen has McEwen capital site. He has designed an junior index : McEwen Junior gold Index (MJGI). Normally he keeps the list to 25 juniors. I have been watching the list for several years. But PM sector has been you know…..
All juniors are selected based on some financial criteria provided on the web page below.
When PM sector turns around companies on his list one to watch.
What is your opinion on this list?
Your participation was needed on this site in terms of fundamental analysis of companies.
He owns 9 percent of Goldquest and 27 percent of Lexam. This Goldquest I find interesting as a lottery ticket. I started doing some DD on it recently after learning of Rob’s new stake. They are advancing what seems to be decent project in the Dominican Republic. It’s probably worth a flyer if you have 700$ to lose, throw 10,000 shs on the page and just wait. I don’t know his motivations for buying large stakes in exploration companies. Obviously he wants to make money… but I don’t know if he ultimately wants to roll any of these up into MUX, and wants the leverage of his personal stake.
Yes he wants to roll in his MUX. This from past history of him.. I used to have two micro junior in early stages. He bought those at 0.15 and bot them out at .30. I was very disappointed.
He will probably have the same thinking. I own GQC and want to get more. But I am not sure what this upcoming washout in PM will do to GQC????
Yes GQC is 10 bagger in good market. Recently another good one merge- St. Andrews gold. AND another 10 bagger I was watching is bot out is Gold Canyon GCU.
All the good ones are being sucked up by the companies with lot of cash at hand at these depressed level.
Thanks.
Probably just more reason to buy MUX. When he starts rolling these up and there is any sniff of another gold bull, MUX is going to rip again. I’m an American and I really don’t dabble in Toronto nor the Venture Exchange.
Venture Exchange is gone…with BreX
Now the CDNX
But I hear you
