Down 4.16% so far this month and right on cue in terms of the turn I was projecting. Like I said…over the past several weeks, I don’t see positive things ahead for the S&P, Dow, and major indices here. I know others are very bullish on the set up but I just don’t see it.

Looks pretty convincing. I have three short positions, SDS, TWM and BIS, in the US markets, and 2 positions short emerging (EDZ) and non-US equities (EFZ). The strategy now seems to be long gold miners, short share market indexes.
Spock, surprised BIS did not move more yesterday?
biotech its perceived as a “safe haven” now that pm sector is loathed. perception is reality. just speculating, but i can think of no other reason. however, its turn is coming, as the junk bond collapse migrates across sectors.
