Maybe not as much culturally but Canada’s Gov’t. does have more in common with EU Socialists
Will Canada Join The European Union? – ZH
EC President Von der Leyen called for greater cooperation with “like-minded countries, such as […] Canada,” and according to one poll, Canadians see the EU overtaking the US as the country’s primary global ally in the next three to five years.
In fact, 44% of respondents, believes Canada should join the European Union. Brussels is “honored” by the poll, but added that it is a non-starter: only European states can apply for EU membership.
I’d rather join the US, if we can’t get rid of WEF in Canada.
What? We don’t need an 11th province, much less a new province across the ocean. The EU can find some other sugar daddy to sort out their problems.
If we want to take on new territory the Turks and Caicos Islands have applied to join Canada. That’s alright with me, but only as a territory on par with Nunavut, not as a province.
If parliament ever actually resumes, the Canadian government should have a serious debate about whether they should offering the USA an opportunity to become Canada’s 11th official province!!!!!!!!
Do you Canadian Tenters have any opinion or insight into what most Canadians identify with politically? What I am asking is, in the US the two coasts and a few other pockets of liberal, progressive elites look down on the main body of the middle of the US and in the past have gotten away with running the govt. all too often even though the majority of the states and more than half the voters are conservative, as reflected in recent elections. What is the mix in Canada? Do people say they are conservative but vote for the progressive liberal parties that have also been destroying your country the way they have done in the US before Trump, or if you had a system of states rights and an electoral college type of approach, would you line up more like the US where the conservatives would likely win out? That is the question to ask. Would you be better off in a system where the majority want more individual rights and personal freedom? Your founding documents may state that but your leaders seem to have ignored them the same way Biden and Obama did here.
