70 year Processing Plant in Denver with 170 good jobs with benefits could be permanently closed

Says it will be devastating on “The local ranchers and the farmers that run their animals through there each year”

“So we’ve got devastation going on in Denver. They’re looking to abolish the processing plants and fur trade going on located in the city. Now Superior Farms has been there for over 70 years. It’s an employee owned processing plant and this is gonna take out over a 170 jobs with good benefits and good wages. Not to mention the devastation it’s gonna take on all the local ranchers and the farmers that run their animals through there each year.

500,000 lambs is a lot of lambs, and that’s a lot of fur and a lot of meat supplied locally to the community. We need to stand up against this and make sure it doesn’t happen.”
