“The article I saw today was that Johnson is angling for a five year extension. That will coincidentally push the reauthorization decision beyond Trump’s full term, into whatever party gets the next turn at the wheel. If we ever want to see the end of FISA, we need to get Republicans to go for a short renewal so Trump can kill it.”
