   The miners have been so decimated for so long, it really does seem reasonable that the change should last a bit longer than a few months. But, who knows. Martin Armstrong seems to thinks WWIII is baked into the cake, and that will continue to drive gold to records highs until we blow ourselves up, so there’s that to look forward to. We are led by the f*cking insane. Blinken wants Ukraine to join NATO so American fighter jets can start shooting wars with the Russians. Now there’s an idea. F*ck him. My son is not going to go fight and killed in a war over corrupt Ukraine.

     Yes, indeed, the insane rule. Whether elected, appointed, hired hand or whatever, they are all insane. They live in a place that once you go there you can never come back.

     If I was stacking anything these days it would be junk silver. Best spendable currency there is. Especially when paper finally burns…

   I can proudly announce I’m some 15+ years margin free! Once I got caught into this trap (margin call) when broker changed margin requirements at the worst possible time. I think this is deliberate stealing and they are loading up at that time. I had enough cash in my account until that change, and they sold some my positions at the very bottom. 🙁

   I was so pissed, I wanted to change my brokerage accounts from margin to non-margin right away. Well I couldn’t do that. I had to close my accounts and open new, non margin ones. I can sleep so much batter since then. I will never ever again have margin accounts.

   Month or two ago, one poster here mentioned horrible margin call with probably house selling to cover for loses. I’m still thinking about that poster and hoping that all ended up well.

     Never had a margin call as I always had surplus margin left over. Over the years I was able to squeeze a profit out of most of the trades. My rule was only use it in a bull run and take the profit if it looked toppy.

     Margin can indeed wipe one out.

     This was one of the first disciplines I defined for myself, in my 30s: I will never have any margin accounts.

   Margin is what exposed the Hunt Brothers to the whims of the RULE CHANGERS, otherwise would have ended much differently – Would the feds have had to ‘come and take it’ and would they have dared?
