While I still strongly believe that Joe won’t be around as the Dem candidate in November, he is still here at least until they can work out the details for a Hunter plea deal on as minor a charge(low level felony) as they can get away with.

Joe will pardon him and shortly after bow out for health reasons. In the meantime everything is going down the toilet for the Dems and especially the country. That is why it is quite possible that come Thursday night’s SOTU presentation, Joe throws a desperation, Hail Mary Pass and calls for some form of price controls.

I can’t remember if Nixon’s required Congressional approval(believe he had the votes back then but not sure?) Even if Joe got them somehow in place, we know they don’t work and if implemented, just end up creating shortages and other dislocations, including black market activity.

They could just be using it as cover because stocks are close to topping out and gold and silver are on the cusp of an upside explosion. This is already showing signs of being a wild week and it is only Monday.
