On October 27th, I left Marrakech and have been touring the country by rental car. At the moment, depending on who you ask I’m technically not even in Morocco anymore, but in Western Sahara. But it’s as much a part of Morocco as Crimea is part of Russia. Anyway, I’m now in Dakhla, learning how to kite-board. Great fun!
A French guy is at the same hotel and we just came back from a fish dinner in this fishing town. I saw your message and went down to ask the man from Senegal who manages the hotel what he thinks of Putin. His answer was simple: “A good president.” No surprise to me there.
If I remember during these last few days of mine in Morocco, I will ask others I encounter and report back!
