EV’s: This Youtuber has an EV Porsche Taycan
For entertainment:
Gives a humourous look at his experience with his EV.
Search through his videos. Need a good distraction these days.
This clip is about the replacing his EV’s tires. Never thought about the need for different specs for an EV due to weight. Makes sense. He’s getting 12,000 miles before replacement.
On an ICE vehicle, 40-50,000 miles is considered good for M+S tires. GMG is pushing 60,000 miles on her original set of M+S and the tread is still acceptable to Toyota.
EVs are dead on arrival
Everyone wjho owns one will figure t out and that will be that
I agree Fully.
In the city, the eBikes, eScooters and other small forms of transport make sense. The Green lanes make riding safer as long as they follow traffic rules. Backpacks and bike carriers can hold a lot of stuff.
Small resource footprint compared to an EV car. Great for commuting to work and errands.
Not counting service vehicles, the great majority of cars have only one occupant. The roads are so congested with commuters. Those who can’t afford to live in the city must commute from less expensive areas. Build more mass transit??? Live closer to work??
No easy answer.
They need to improve on battery recycling though.
