Ten thousand trial lawyers genuflected to him at every appearance. Ten thousand judges smiled as they realized that they now get to make the rules. Ten thousand citizens morned the loss of our heritage. Tens of millions of Canadians cheered in ignorance. We’ve been cheering our ignorance ever since.
