Nice to see Charest get his ass kicked. He represents everything that’s wrong with Canadian politics – a complete “bought and paid for” slime bucket. PP will have to give him something, I suppose. My guess is foreign policy. Keep him out of the way, and out of the country. Ambassador to the Ukraine would be fine with me.

My guess is that he’ll have the same problems, PD. All parties are very well controlled by tptb. That said, a Prime Minister in Canada has a lot of power. If he’s smart, independent and knows his way around the deep state, he can do some real damage. The problem is the WEF owns both Castro and Singh. PP needs to push for an election, but these Weffers aren’t swayed by popular opinion. They follow orders from Schwab, and Schwab want’s them to hold out until ’25.

Good point about Bernier. Pulling him in would create real momentum. The media could not blunt the effect of that. PP’s main opponent is not Castro, It’s the media. Will PP go to war, or will he try to make himself acceptable? That will be “the tell”.

The Overton window has shifted Left in Canada but there are many disgruntled NDP supporters who did not appreciate Dogmeat throwing his support behind The Turd. Will they come out and cast a protest vote against him?
Poilievre touched upon many groups this evening in his speech. The unions were just one of them.
He reached out to new immigrants, the Québécois, unions, resource industries, farmers, oil and gas, working class and the small businesses.
Did I miss a few. His wife is a real asset I could see her on the campaign trail. A good orator.
I live in a strong Conservative riding. Not much campaigning necessary.
Even so I would be tempted to place a few Poilievre signs on my lawn/snowbanks depending on the season.
