Pardon me, but I think it’s more power, very much including the power of propaganda and public obedience, than law.
I would not be surprised if the 2 bodies, the house and senate, steamroller away, ignore law and constitution, and stab Trump voters in their back(s) from the drivers’ seats of their fine steamrollers. I would not be surprised at all to see Pence stab Trump voters in the back. I would not even be absolutely astonished to see Trump stab Trump voters in the back when all is said and done.
I could easily be wrong. I would not bet much on anything one way or another.
I do think matters are moves of power more than law though. Power consists of many things. One of them is public perception. If — a means were to be created or found to show massive vote fraud in a way so that even the dullest with the shortest attention spans could see — perhaps somehow tied to showing the perpetrators torturing and raping kittens and puppies — ….

But if (I’m exaggerating I think) the usual Hollywood and Corporate Media twits say, as they suppress alternative perspectives, that the Law and the Constitution command Pelosi to have the DC police haul any dissenting Congressmen off to jail if they speak up to contest media-endorsed election results, that’s what goes down — almost.
I do hope the proceedings prove peaceful and just.
People have been saying Trump was going to turn on his constituents from day 1 and my money says he hasn’t put up with the BS to this point just to prove them right. It ain’t happening.
The pope is catholic, the bear does his thing in the woods and Trump loves his country.
oh, and ditto for Pence although he has not been battle tested, we’ll see.
I’d bet far more on Trump than Pence.
However included among those who do not want Trump in are not just the dimwit followers of the fake left, fake right, and, worse, celebrities. There are also the unimaginably rich and their potential employees; also all the technology that money can buy or rent.
Neither the unbelievably powerful and rich international employers nor those operating on their behalf may be in the long run intelligent, but they can be clever in their ways, as well as ruthless, and they will have the best technology available. I don’t even want to try to think about much less write what I might mean, but on the more banal side that I’ve seen written about, as an example that I may not mean, a video, possibly convincingly faked, of a close relative is provided. It does not have to be just one thing or event.
It could work the other way however, and maybe by chance. Perhaps someone makes the Speaker of the House too stiff a drink, perhaps the Speaker herself. Who knows? Sometimes chance plays a role.
Good point, more formidable adversaries lie in wait (recent walmart SJW comment). Admit that I’ve lost sleep over how ugly this could get on both sides, 2015 was so peaceful.
The Manchurian Candidate was only a movie, but maybe it could take less than a card flip and there’s hesitancy at a key time on someone’s part – that someone doesn’t quite know why – no bloodshed – no threats – no need for that. All over our heads and behind our backs. But I’ve got too much of an imagination.
