We collectively here have been on this phenomenon for a while now.
To me it suggests Deflation in Real things but Gold is acting like a currency and not a commodity.

Also the ratio indicates that miners profitability increases as the cost of mining decreases compared to price of gold. Increase margin helps miners cash flow for further exploration to increase reserves while depleting current reserves thru mining.
That brings the ?? exploration stocks boom while the ratio goes higher.
Also like that Blogs explanation of how this ratio monitors economic confidence and shoots down the manipulation theory !
Turns out that ALL commodities are being manipulated except Gold
