   Everything seems to be true in this article. Well written, well done research.
   However it misses the point. Those funds are DERIVATIVES to the underlining crypocurrencies. They do not participate in their revolutionary tecnology ! They can not be traded instantly, are not crypted thus not secure and do not offer anonymity. Furthermore (without being absolutely sure) they could be taxable (I mean the profits could be submitted to extortion … ehm… I mean taxes ;o)

       I will Fully ! I will keep you posted, at the ridk of having some trouble with my wife (she is sick of technical analysis).
       I have to thank you all guys for the numerous lessons I have received on this site (graddhy, spock, norvast, bikoo, fully, surfcity, mark, cashcost, and many others).
       You have helped me positioning myself for this approaching RAGEing bullmarket in PM’s and to moove around in this new, cryptonite explosive already RAGEing bull in the crypto’s !!
       Thank you guys !! Thank to you I will hopefully retire two years from now !!

   In order to have etf about Bitcoin the underwriter has to have those many Bitcoins/crypto C’s in account. How that will work is not clear to me.
   Yes it is easy for an investor who is not upto GEEK in CC to take part thru this ETF (GBTC) on AMEX.

   Hypothetically if there were only cryptocurrencies and only vendors who would accept them, wouldn’t the current scenario in BC be HUGELY inflationary? All month I can buy $10 USD worth of product in the same quantity however if I’m paying in bitcoin, I’m buying the same amt of product for multiple increases in BC (currently). In either case the ‘buying power’ of BC in product is hugely declining. It would seem the thing to do for those holding crypto would be to get into more stable forms of currency at these levels. It is only THEN that purchasing power per unit of currency would be realized that is assuming your BC stash is intended to be spent and not just part of long term savings or part of a ‘collection’. I’m not in the market, but what is the price of weed in Seattle two months ago in BC vs USD. My guess would be you want to be holding BC then and dollars/EU/PM now. Thinking more about it, if BC continues it’s strataspheric rise when it hits critical mass there may come a point when converted into say a WEAK or small market currency – it could supplant it entirely – probably not a challenge to the dollar or major currencies at the moment but would at least have a dilutive effect (inflationary to target currency). Heck, if I had FAITH in BC as a long term currency (with privacy, accessibility and anti-CB concerns addressed) right now I’d probably put half into physical PM (now on sale at a HUGE discount in terms of BC and let the other half ride). If BC is here to stay and it’s growth rate follows this trajectory BC IS INFLATIONARY to those who do not hold it. Much as gold was to the dollar in the 70’s. Might it be that a single or multiple sovereigns are bidding up the price of BC in prep for a conversion event in a local currencty down the road? Just thinking out loud here.
