It’s Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK and Kitco is showing no London Gold Fix for today. Presumably the main market in London is closed. I am not sure how this works because the spot price is still moving around since I guess there is trading elsewhere.

I wonder if Friday’s upmove included some positioning by London traders in case there was a big run up today, when they are at the beach being rained on as usual.
