As trader’s here this is just an “exchange of ideas”; in this case formations, trend lines, etc. NO one, I mean no one can predict the movement of the squiggles. If I was that good, I would be living on my own island, instead of looking for “island reversal patterns” :-)…As Rambus once stated, “this game with leveraged ETFs is a double edged sword”. EagleSeagle…I’ve spent 20 years watching the Tweaked TSI and MACD…soon I realized I’d never know when they turn if it will be a Whip zone = Min loss or the start of a real, momentum trend… Max gains.
I’ve never taken a big loss using the 4 Horsemen even when a data point or news event created a big move against my position because often one must use their own intelligence during these events ahead of knowing full well the Tweakers are going to turn.
Being on the correct side of a momentum trend is key, how many disregard the charts and hang on based off Hope, Fundamentals or Hype….the KEY is trading a position in a sector or stock, ETF that has a history of decent swings and we traders have the luxury of riding either way, north (long) or south (short).
