Weekend Cycles update

Did not post this weekend as nothing much has changed in my Cycles forecast over the last week:

Gold’s 2016 Bull Market Moving Off Course

USD OpEx tomorrow

This event just popped up on my financial calendar.

So the question is: What usually happens on USD OpEx days?

Bonds (TLT) Yearly Cycle Low?

Gold Yearly Cycle Low?

Are we getting close?

Volume before Price?

My thoughts on last week’s volume patterns across the PM Complex. Does not mean we can’t see one more brief flush into a YCL.

NAK on the Move today

Northern Dynasty (NAK) on the move today. Who needs 3x vehicles when you can get into a nice channel like this.

Scandium Mining is also up 32%, which is where I took some profits for now near what my be a double top.

Will reload if it breaks out.

NAK now up 27% on the day.

Gold Silver and GDX

Here are my thoughts on the PM Complex after breaking below the Oct TC Low last Friday.

Buying on Weakness

Guess what made the top of the list?

Natty Gas should be getting close to its YCL based on Time and Price.

CCAN for Washer

Washer, any insight on Canadian Cannabis Corp? The symbol is CCAN on OTC and the stock has been basing for about at least a year on extremely low volume.

But the volume has been picking up recently over the past 6-8 months moving up from 4-5K per day to around 30K daily.

No news that I can find but the last several days, the volume has been 6x to 7x normal,up over 200K shares.

Volume before Price?

Stock was up 17% yesterday and is now up another 31% today. Any thoughts?

Added: CCAN closed up 40% on the day with almost 8x normal volume.

GDX and DUST

GDX has now breached its short term Trading Cycle or Daily Cycle uptrend line.

While it may bounce here, a breach of the uptrend line usually signals the move into the next TC Low or DCL has begun. The tricky part here is that I have Gold on day 22 which is the early part of my Timing band to find a TC Low or DCL. Based on this alone, one needs to be careful with short positions, IMO.

Charts in attached link.

DUST

Took remaining profits on my DUST position at 37.10

Looks like more choppy action in the PM complex but Time is still an issue for moving much higher in the short term, IMO.

SPX Yearly Cycle update

GDX and DUST

The Miners are at a key inflection point of their current short term Trading Cycle. My first chart shows GDX now testing its Trading Cycle uptrend line and my second chart shows DUST at resistance. Just took some nice profits on half my DUST position but my gut tells me that this is not the TC low just yet.

Here is my previous post on DUST from last week:

Gold Cycle Update

Charts from Friday but just getting around to posting. Busy weekend…

Gold’s YCL may be behind behind us and Gold has been bullish of late but it is also late in the short term trading cycle. A higher TC Low would be bullish. If we get a lower low, it should be the YCL.

I have Gold on day 19 which is “toppy” from a Time perspective (TC lows ave 23-29 days) and 1315-1322 is strong resistance.

My first two Gold charts are daily of the price action since the double top in early August.

The top red line is critical and should only be broken when the IC Low is behind us. That is up in the 1315-1322 range and that is a big task this late in a Trading Cycle (see 3rd chart).

But the next low could be a higher TC Low which would be bullish.

3rd is a long term Gold weekly showing strong resistance in the 1315-1322 range.

4th Chart on GDX.
