Loading ...The chart on the left was one I posted almost a year ago. Next to it is todays update. I see no reason to expect anything different, so I’m preparing to exit after we break through $1700 and when the indicators start to flash red.
…and it’s saying it loud and clear to those who have been listening since the 16 year cycle low 4 years ago.

On reflection, comparing to what happened in the past, my US Dollar topping formation has one last chance. The monthly close will probably consign this chart to history.

I think the next leg up is here. My analysis has led me to expect (cautiously) a big move around about now. I need to see the weekly close above $1605. Could it be a bull trap ? I’d say it’s a very low probability, but as per my post yesterday – keep an eye on downside support levels. I’m seeing more and more of the miners following silvers lead, and gold is almost there. Take a look at these charts of GDX and tell me they don’t look bullish from every angle…

On a day when gold and silver continued to grind sideways, with lots of fear and disbelief in the air, I’ve noticed that some of the big names appear to be front-running the coming move…
My take on silvers long-term picture
I’ve learned over the years just how important it is to look at downside risk, even when you’re pretty sure price is going to go up. I’ve read some cautious posts on here recently, and I agree, there’s ‘something in the air’. A large move is almost upon us, in my view. With that in mind, this is how I’m seeing things…

Standard PM bull market behaviour. Early stages waiting for GSR to drop and silver to out-perform. Big names show the way, before the juniors begin to make huge gains later in the bull market.
