   There’s three bottoms to the upward channel and so far the first two have caused some resistance when they were reached. The second one is being backtested (10:05) and I suspect the third one, down around $43 will slow things down or at least cause a hesitation. But so far it looks like a simple trade for a commodity that overextended itself. The 13/34 on the 30 min have crossed down but not the 45 or 60, yet.

   Have you ever noticed that 13/34 crosses seem to always coincide with standard TSI zero line crosses? I just noticed it while studying indicator readings on various ETFs, short and long, as well as 60 min and 5 min.

   I read somewhere that TSI zero line crosses could be used as buy/sell signals but after seeing how they, sometimes a little early, sometimes a little later, coincide with the 13/34 crosses it makes the TSI look even more useful. In fact, I’ve found the TSI to be 3 indicators in one: RSI; MACD and TSI. Now it’s like 4 in 1 with the 13/34 crosses at the zero line.

   I find the TSI readings to differ very little from RSI and MACD making them redundant, especially where screen space is an issue. Of course, the TSI can’t replace the nice, smooth “stay with the trend” indication that the 13/34 does which helps filter out the choppy price action that the TSI is sensitive to and keeps tripping over.

   My ideal trading setup (so far) for trading short/long 3x ETFs:
   -60 min and 5 min Chart with 13/34 EMAS and Trend lines:
   +TSI standard
   +Stoch 14
   +Stoch 144

   I like the visual overlay of the 13/34; but yes if the TSI and/or MACD breaches zero that is bullish. Stoch 144 over 50 is bullish and above 80 very strong…Yes, with just those indicators, one can trade successfully. WTIC is so much “easier” to trade than DUST/NUGT. Smoother by far.
