Q. Isn’t it a fact that the president’s proposed budget proposes $4.7 trillion in new taxes?
Sec. Yellen: It does propose significant additional taxes, yes.
Q: $4.7 TRILLION?
Sec. Yellen: Something like that, yes.
They have no idea what these numbers mean. Nor do they care. For fifty years they have argued with conservatives about the inevitable destination of profligate spending. They finally agree with our conclusion, even though they still won’t admit it, and they don’t give a damn – as long as they come out on top of whatever is on the other side. Sociopaths, all!
It’s kind of funny that everyone in Washington talks as though Clueless Joe is actually the person making the decisions – sort of a ‘the emperor has no clothes’ thing. Weird!
