There’s a giant anti-Trump narrative deploying, apparently intended to discourage him from even announcing his 2024 run. One of the most obvious indications is corporate media’s nonstop reporting that “Trump candidates lost badly” in the elections Tuesday. For example:
This is a fake corporate media narrative, and not even a very good one. President Trump endorsed 183 candidates. Of those, 174 won. If, in order to get credit, Trump’s candidates had to perform better than THAT, I’d like to know who’s beaten that record.
Let’s see Biden’s record of endorsements and how THEY performed.
Meanwhile, popular and feisty ex-press-secretary Kayleigh McEnany thinks Trump should “pause” any announcement about 2024 until all elections are over, including the pending Georgia runoff.
I kind of agree with that one.

Editor’s note: I have not yet disclosed my opinion on 2024, or even hinted at it. So don’t assume because I praise or criticize either Trump or DeSantis that means I’ve taken a side. I like them both. I also think it would be a horrible mistake for conservatives to go to war over this. We need to work it out somehow without giving democrats a chance to make it a wedge issue.

JC has this one wrong. It’s not a fake media narrative, it’s real – Trump is all but DOA. Quit making excuses for this idiot, he had his chance and he failed miserably. Time to move on. I’m sure his ego won’t let him move on, but it would be best for the country and the republican party. He would rather burn the place to the ground than to fade off into the sunset.

I’ve always felt Trump might be controlled opposition; a perfect villain manufactured by globalist elites to attract the support of the American conservative base, only to be solidly in the globalist camp when it comes to issues vital to their cause. The red flags are many: his declaring the national emergency to open the door for lockdowns and restriction of movement, his aggressive promotion of the development and subsequent delivery of the vaccines, his introduction of the once obscure Dr. Fauci prominently onto the world stage. His nomination and Joe Biden’s subsequent re-nomination of Powell as Fed Chair, his claim to drain the swamp only to consistently nominate career swamp creatures to high office. His treatment by the media is suspect in that they give him more press than anyone, making sure to keep him as the perpetual villain, and ever popular among conservatives. To the mainstream media and establishment political class there is overwhelming evidence that he led an attempted coup, an insurrection meant to overthrow America itself. And yet, even though it’s clear they would easily secure a conviction by any D.C. jury, thereby ridding themselves of him altogether, they fail to indict him on any charges, but they tease the idea of it relentlessly in the media. I don’t trust him.

Rand Paul is the only politician I know who doesn’t lie on a regular basis. Is he perfect? No. But there are many in D.C. much worse.
