   If we compare gold with Palladium outbreak, this means after we reach $1900 in gold, a correction to $1600/$1700 should follow before a launch to all time highs.

     We’ll know in the next 6-12 months just how high we’re likely to go before the gold correction into 2023 (unless you’re a bear of course, in which case we’re heading to less than $1000).

   Ns: forgive me for saying so, but I think you are relying on cycles a bit too much. I’ve never come across a “cycles expert” who could be relied on with any precision. Not meant to be a knock, just an observation. Keep up the good work!

   Thanks Jim. I’ve always said the cycles in gold/dollar/commodities etc could break. The investment cycle is akin to a heartbeat though, if it does break (which it hasn’t in the modern monetary era, post gold standard), then all bets are off. SPX/Dow Jones may suffer a large correction at some point, but I think. like gold and the price of your house, and any other asset, it will trend upwards to infinity. The price of everything will trend to infinity because the value of the Dollar is trending to zero. It’s already lost over 90% of it’s purchasing power, and there’s no way it is going to start gaining value against assets over time. How can it ? So what it boils down to is the relative price of one asset class against another. That’s where cyclical investment behaviour is abundantly clear in every chart you care to look at.
