The Conservatives are getting just as much support as the had in 2021 ( even a little more ) 40% or so
And in a normal cycle the NDP gets about 18%
NDP is now down to 9%
and where did the other half go ?

If the NDP had held their base the Conservatives would win in a landslide 40% Cons to 35% Libs …But libs picked up 9% from the NDP…so 44 to 40 and thats an easy majority
So essentially the Left is getting lefter and yes we are fucked…we need to weather the next 4 years and it is not going to be pretty

The country deserves to be brought to it’s knees by Trump. Maybe the population will wake up and see what has transpired once previously well paid jobs disappear across the country. On a recent conversation with a Bank manager who was soliciting our business, I was told that a good chunk of the population is just making monthly payments and it could worsen. Huge disparity in wealth as parents are increasingly propping up their adult children which is taking down the Boomers. Many have taken out mortgages to help out their adult children and the gravy train is not ending any time soon. Going to make it easier for the population to accept Digital ID accompanied by UBI.
I am disgusted by my age group. I am disgusted that successive Canadian and provincial Governments of all stripes allowed the money laundering which lead to an explosion in house prices. Everyone wants their home to appreciate but this is way out of whack with incomes what they are. If not for the proceeds of crime buying up homes and letting them sit vacant possibly homes could be more affordable to the first time buyer. Asking $2 million+ for a shitty teardown in Vancouver is not affordable but it has become the norm for redevelopment and someone will purchase a two bed unit in the new development for $2 million.
We are in for a rough 4 years regardless but a slow walk to communism is not going to go over well when people wake up but what do they say. You can vote in Socialism but you need to fight your way out.
