Trump threatens walking away from Ukraine/Russia negotiations!
This will force Zelensky to stop playing games and come to the negotiating table ready for peace, or Trump will just let the situation be, no more funding for Ukraine, and Russia will overwhelm them.
Either Zelensky does what Trump says, or Trump will let Putin kill him. Simple as that. Ukraine will collapse rapidly without US funding, weaponry, intelligence, ammunition, etc.
Trump clarifies that he thinks he will get the situation resolved, but he has said many times, that you have to be willing to walk away from negotiations, which grants him additional leverage.
Trump holds the cards, and will continue to squeeze Zelensky until he submits. If Zelensky does not want to submit, then Putin will take him via force.
As I have said time and time again, Zelensky is a dead man walking. There is no scenario in which he escapes.

What the hell has held him back to this point? The inevitable result of this fiasco has been known for over two years. Biden’s group of clowns knew its would cost them the election if they didn’t ride it out. So they rode it out. Trump could have said six months ago that he would not fund a losing war, and make it so the moment he took power. Instead he’s been playing art of the deal games. He’s been irresponsible and foolish on this most important issue.
Everything in due time Strider – you can’t start with the ultimatum (or take action that might possibly need to be retracted) – actions taken thus far by Trump have revealed (for the world/public record) UK/EU’s position, Nato’s position and most importantly the parties (other than Ukraine) who NEED THE WAR to continue (and BTW who Zelensky answers too >> EU/London/Brussels) …. and at this point that’s indeed what they will get, without US support. Russia is in the catbird seat on their border but the carrot is (and I hope this doesn’t turn out to be false pretense on the US’ part down the road in 4 years) is normalized relations with the US (and hopefully the world once the neo-conservatives/zionists/WEF types have been subdued).
Now of course if Russia makes moves beyond Ukraine or militarizes taken Ukraine territory or perhaps refuses say a proposed NEUTRAL ZONE against Europe – a different matter evolves. Another scenario is if the Ukraine war is ‘resolved’ what’s to keep NATO member states from continuing to drone/antagonize Russia – again who needs war the most.
Best possible outcome: walk away and let Putin finish the job.
Meanwhile, start arresting the bastards and bitches in the U.S. that brought this about. There are many players, all traitors, all worthy of a firing squad.

It seems inevitable that Russia will have to finish the job. Trump thinks he’s negotiating, while Putin knows capitulation, with an honourable exit, is Trump’s best move. The proposals from the west so far have been ridiculous. It is almost as though they think losing the biggest conflict in seventy five years should be without consequence.
