Good to see! It’s looking more and more that Putin and Trump have already worked out the broad parameters of a security arrangement. This denouement to the war is historic and hopeful. I think we should stop pretending that Zelensky’s performance at the White House has anything to do with these moves. Ukraine was a pawn in all aspects of this calamity. It was America’s proxy war, and Russia’s victory. Trump is inevitably recognizing the loss, and together with Russia, hanging the blame around Zelensky’s neck.
