As one who has studied the books documenting the Christian Heritage of America, I’m most familiar with the founding fathers and the price they paid. Men do not make such sacrifices of life, limb, family and fortune for an idea but for a belief. Virtually all of the signers had a deep abiding Christian faith with rare exception.
The leap from there to Lincoln begins the stretch. Lincoln was the linchpin to the undoing of American freedom and liberty. His actions in plunging the north into a needless and unconstitutional war resulted in the intended effect: concentration of power in DC and significantly reduced power of the states – 100% contrary to the intent of the founding fathers. They knew from their deep and wide understanding of history that a strong central government always leads to tyranny (how are we feeling about that today with a) the Fed; b) completely unscrupulous government; c) destruction of individual rights; d) corrupt justice system; e) corrupt money; d) treason across the landscape; e) wide open borders; f) the insanity of no sexual mores or standards. This is exactly the outcome any international cabal would and do want. They make no bones about it. And here we are.
The attempts to bring other “links” and “conspiracies” into play are rather nonsensical and deny the sweep of history. This has all happened before – we are seeing nothing new under the sun. It is all same old, same old. To think otherwise is to be a fool. Is it entertaining? Yup. Is it distracting to what matters in life? Yup. Just like always. The bible – God – promises exactly this.
Will the Trump regime make a difference? Perhaps. Color me a skeptic. I remember Afghanistan. Trump’s naïveté was a key component in the disastrous withdrawal from that nation. He has a terrible track record of appointing people and trusting people who are at bet, suspect and at worse enemies of Trump. Imagine being that blind!! He is doing better this time but still has some really bad appointments that remind me of his first term.
So Trump might, perhaps will, make some waves. But as we all know at The Tent, the cake was baked long ago. There is no way out, the tipping point has been passed. Maybe Trump and his “team” will make waves. Maybe it won’t be spending and corruption as usual. Maybe departments will be closed and corrupt bureaucrats sent packing. Maybe Nancy Pelosi will go to jail. Maybe the two murders – both LE – from J6 will go to prison.
Based on history and experience I’d rather bet on precious metals, guns, ammo, and food than any of the above. Argentina and El Salvador stand as examples that wholesale change can occur. But tiny nations, different government set-ups, and neither have hundreds of military bases around the world and their currencies are not world reserve ones. Small always works better, which is why the founding fathers set things up the way they did. There has never been a more knowledgeable group of historians in the world, IMHO. And they applied that knowledge, their knowledge of scripture, and their knowledge of freedom and how fragile it is in creating the constitution and the bill of rights.
Which only exists now on paper, not fact, not in practice. The institutional support required for that has disappeared forever in America. And that disappearance began with Lincoln and his crushing of state’s rights. All downhill since.

And to Fully – while I would not choose to put a label on you, you are way off base labeling me a fatalist. I completely believe I can choose to change my destiny. Not others, only my own. And I would certainly not place and belief, hope, nor trust in any government entity for anything involving my destiny.
