This could end up breaking the EU apart. Unlike the UK, where Boris Johnson delayed and diluted Brexit, Britain wasn’t a full member. If the AfD wins and the EU tries to nullify the will of the German citizenry, Germany could exit and that would end the EU.

The benefits to all members have been significant economically. Having a single currency and no tariffs is far more important than having stupid, progressive liberal agendas like climate change, open immigration and other mandatory politcal dictates.

They need to separate politics, from economics and prosperity. Let each country go back to political sovreignty and keep the economic bond that benefits everyone.
